A Pilot Study to Target and Assess The Reversal of Type 2 Diabetes through Lifestyle Medicine
What is the “L.I.M.I.T. Study”?
The L.I.M.I.T. Study is a pilot study funded by the Hunter New England Central Coast Primary Health Network, and facilitated by the Lifestyle Medicine Centre to target and assess the application of Lifestyle Modification to reverse Type 2 Diabetes.
The L.I.M.I.T. Study requires patients currently suffering with Type 2 Diabetes to undertake a 20-week program where they will apply Lifestyle Modification through a variety of avenues including:

- Lifestyle Is Medicine In Type 2 Diabetes.
This study is open to residents of the Central Coast region who have been diagnosed with Type 2 Diabetes and are ready to commit to an evidence-based program designed to reverse this Chronic Disease. Patients will be required to show a high level of self-efficacy as they apply the principles and practises of Lifestyle Medicine and attend regular check-ins and workshops with our multi-disciplinary team as well as group based activities.
